From Structural Design to Civil Estimation
I’m Zein Mohamed Abdelrahman, a Senior Civil Estimation Engineer with 6+ years of civil and structural engineering experience across power, data centers, LNG, industrial, infrastructure and building projects.
Today at Nesma Infrastructure & Technology, my work focuses on civil and architectural tendering and preconstruction for major power and infrastructure projects, including EHV/HV substations, transmission systems, synchronous condensers, data-center infrastructure and associated civil works.
Before moving into estimation and tendering, I worked in structural design and BIM at Consolidated Contractors International Company across major international energy, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, commercial and infrastructure projects.
That structural-design background now strengthens how I approach quantities, constructability, multidisciplinary interfaces, tender risk and value-engineering opportunities.
